The pins on the device's OBD2 cable were too large and prevented me from plugging it into an OBD2 socket on the car. Tried on several computers - without success. They looked significantly wider compared to the pins on my snap-on scanner's OBD2 connector. I didn't want to force it in and damage the car connector. The manufacturer never replied to me regarding the replacement cable so I'm sending it back to Revain. A smack on the restocking fee, but without that cord it's a paperweight.

Another cool thing this tool does is that it can save your settings on your radio when you change batteries. I was also able to use this without a scanner. This tool can save you money on diagnosing and repairing vehicle problems. Mine worked well with great accuracy.

Great product for diagnostic, immobilizer and security work whether on the desk with the included power adapter or in the vehicle with the OBD II port for powering. These days I always use those expensive scan tools to make sure the networks are communicating properly and the box assembly is properly powered and grounded. You don't want to plug in your very expensive scan tool and it gets fried because you didn't have the right credentials and reasons due to someone's previous poor vehicle…
