I love this cake stand! I have it on my desk even if it doesn't have pastries. The lid is plastic rather than glass, but I appreciate that because then it's not too heavy. The base is great wood! Definitely recommend.

This cake stand is really good and I love the wooden base. Our island is beautiful. I also love the fact that the lid is acrylic and won't break if one of my kids drops it 😉 I don't have to worry as much if they reach for it! Overall very happy and satisfied with this purchase!

Nice design, enough space for cakes, biscuits, a whole loaf of bread etc. I may have missed something in the product description/care instructions but the plastic lid does NOT look dishwasher safe. Cracks appeared after the first wash - looks awful but things seem to stay fresh.

I don't like that my standard dinner plate doesn't fit and my cake plate doesn't fit either. It is so beautiful that I will make adjustments. I need a new cake pan and a smaller one for my cakes. The box was destroyed when opened, which is another reason I'm not returning it. But otherwise I like it

I really liked the product at first but it lasted less than 3 months. My husband washed it yesterday and now it's warped and doesn't fit evenly. None of our other sausages or wooden cutting boards have done that, so it must be related to the quality/type of wood. I would have given it 5 stars initially, but the fact that it didn't even last three months is very disappointing.

I love that this cake stand has a wooden base. I thought I'd like the top to be acrylic instead of glass. However, the top had a lot of scratches underneath. In addition, the edge of the lid in contact with the wood is not smooth. It was so jagged that I had to use a nail file to smooth it out. I needed it just in time for Thanksgiving the next day so I didn't return it. Overall nice but not worth the price.

I know that this product has received a lot of positive feedback. I wish mine was one of these, but to be honest I couldn't get rid of the smell of the base! I've tried all sorts of things and it just smelled all the time! In the end I had to throw everything away. I couldn't find a plate, I had to omit the lid and just use it with the plate I had.
