The amazing round head flash produced the perfect even pattern of light I needed for group shots.

I have used Godox TT685s (not suitable for me) then V860ii on my Sony A7 series cameras and have been very happy with them but I need a slightly faster recycle time than the third Godox Flash V1 power output is stable, reload time is pretty fast. Yes, not wanting to skip a frame definitely makes a difference. The only LED in Godox V1, AK-R1 accessories fit on it, head tilt function. V1 is what I've been waiting for!

I love the flash, its round flash head gives great even light which I need for group shots. After almost 4 hours of continuous use of L-Ion, the battery was not touched, it was almost 100% charged. Build quality is also good! I also love the fact that I can control other Godox lights with this camera flash! I was able to use 2 AD200's to light up a large group in the morning sunlight to open up the shadows. I can be happier how they turned out. It worked at full capacity and the recycle time…

Affordable quality!

I used my old Canon flashes with adapter on A7iii. I hated the lack of TTL with this setup. For the price, my choice was to choose the Godox over the Sony flash. I love that this Godox has a rechargeable battery! We used it at a wedding and didn't have to change the battery all day. The recycling time is similar to Canon flashes. Works perfectly for bell-bottoms

I've been using Profoto A1 (Canon) flashes since they first came out. I needed similar flashes for my other gear including Sony and Fuji. This V1S is my second v1, the first was for Canon as I wanted to compare Profoto and Good machines. Their output is indistinguishable.
