Castles well built, handsome. These things are closed like Ft. Knox now! Easy to install from all angles, but note that some engine components can make installing the clamps themselves a bit tricky. Make sure you have the right tools for odd angles that your fingertips can't reach.

Poor instructions that came with the product. They looked like copies of a copy. Some pucks were missing. thanks for youtube I'm convinced it's some kind of fake. The pivot began to vibrate. I will remove the lock and replace it with the original lock. Great original design. Definitely not worth the price.

Good quality product. Solid metal and durable. It fits perfectly on my 2016 Jeep Wrangler 75th Anniversary Edition. The included instructions were a little hard to see as they looked like they had copied them dozens of times. I realized this when I removed the old original fasteners. You might want to watch a short YouTube video before trying to install them. It really helped.

I bought these locks a year ago and I felt safe. Not very strong. The price was good and the quality was good. The installation took me and a friend about an hour. However, the product lasted several months. After a weekend trip I went to change a dead battery and found that the locking mechanism was hanging by a thread. When I tried to fix it it fell apart as you can see in the photo. After the originals were removed and new ones installed, one thing didn't fit. It doesn't snap into place after you push the hood down as far as possible. This is an effective Jeep hood lock that replaces the standard rubber clip and compression clamps. Both the top and bottom bollards are easy to install, although Jeep wants to make it more difficult on the Unlimited models. It's quite a hassle to get to the lower mounts to remove old blocks and install new blocking blocks.
