The last one lasted about two years in the hot desert sun before suddenly leaking. I covered the new one with a black cap. This is our first year so we'll see how long that lasts.

I've had one of these on my external fuel tank for 12 years. Eventually it cracked and started leaking. This is screwed directly onto the old filter and works great.

A while ago my last one broke and I tried a normal spin-on filter (big mistake). This filter is by far the best and I love how it shows all the residue it keeps off your fuel.

HAS BEEN USING THEM FOR YEARS. IF OUTSIDE THEY WILL SPROD AND CHEAP THE DRAIN VALVE BREAKS. REPLACE EVERY YEAR. BUT FIXED TO NEW. ALSO, IF YOU NEED A WRENCH OR REMOVAL PLATE, YOU HAVE THEM TOO. JUST TIGHTEN YOUR HAND AND YOU WILL NOT BREAK/CRACK THE DISTANCE. ALSO THE COLOR BECOMES DARK AFTER A TIME. BUT I STILL USE DUE TO VISIBLE FUEL.

These bowls are designed to eliminate consumables that are part of a superior fuel filtration system. I would expect something like this for something that has a "Made in China" sticker, not an American product. The valve at the bottom screws tightly into the bottom of the bowl. It's actually filled with epoxy, so you can't remove it until the cuff ruptures. This causes the cup (even when empty) to break after a year or two.
