We ordered these because we liked the sleek look and wooden body. They are very poorly made. We ordered two and both fell apart and stopped grinding. The bottom grinding mechanism actually fell apart on one. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. We will buy others and throw them away.

I found the big sister of this product in a kitchen shop, did some research later and came across this tabletop coffee grinder. I was looking for S/P grinders that looked good and would last longer than the plastic gears I see in stores all the time. This mill has a ceramic grinding mechanism that will probably not fail in our lifetime. They also grind pepper and salt equally well. This is a well made product and well worth the price.

We first came across this salt shaker in a restaurant and were impressed by the fine grinding of the salt (versus the usual large chunks that most mills produce) so we searched online and bought. . When we received it we were pleased to learn that the grind is adjustable (via a screw on the bottom) so we can just get the setting right.
