Fragile but handy for occasional use in the domestic kitchen

Good for light use in the domestic kitchen but don't expect it to last long. Mine is still intact but you can tell it's pretty thin. I don't regret the purchase as I rarely use it.

Pros
  • Sturdy wire frame with lugs to secure securely over the bin
Cons
  • Long delivery time

More or less suitable sieve

Getting a sieve as deep as I'm used to seems impossible these days. It was a compromise and it's shallower than I'd like, but at least it's not so wide that I couldn't pour the contents into the bowl without spilling it. This screen came in a mailbag and arrived partially crushed, so a new screen will be dented just like an old, used one. I can't tell you how durable it is because I'm still using my old one that I originally bought at Wal-Mart but can't find anymore.

Pros
  • Stainless steel wire mesh
Cons
  • Not sure

Ideal for sifting sand for hamsters!

I LOVE this! I use it to sift the baby play sand I bake (for cleaning), for my hamster's pot haha I need to get out all the little pebbles and it works PERFECTLY! :) It sits right on top of the bowl I use! :) I shortened an old lacy tank top into a bowl and then I found this! :) Much easier! Lol now I'm not afraid to bake and sift sand for Denton's pot! :) (By the way most hamsters use sand as a sand bath lol, I'm just lucky mine has been using it as a potty since day one! lol it's MUCH easier…

Pros
  • Country of origin: USA
Cons
  • Hard to say
