The lid breaks with kitchen utensils and gadgets

After 2-3 uses and thorough hand washing, the plastic lid of the dispenser broke. This thin design uses small plastic hooks that attach to the thumb piece (which you pull back to open the lid) to hold the piece flat against the lid. If they crack or break, the entire lid becomes unusable. While this design flaw exists, I'd be surprised if it persisted for any length of time for anyone. Very disappointed.

A major defect

I bought this syrup dispenser earlier this year and I love everything about it. However, I need to buy another syrup dispenser and it won't be this one. The reason is that dosing syrup has become very difficult in recent weeks. We flush the cap from time to time, but now it's so hard to move the lever that dispenses the syrup that we can't try to use it. It's a shame because everything else was great.

Not for joints.

Hello, well, I have a restaurant and I've bought half a dozen of these for exactly the price they were created for; Syrup. I also have lids with metal lids, but they tend to puncture and make cleaning difficult, and they also have a separate vanishing seal, so plastic is key, right? Well, except my older clients don't have thumb strength. Push the valve back - most have some form of arthritis - it never even occurred to me that it would be that difficult to operate - what a bummer but I'm glad…

Very pretty but the sliding lid can be tricky for children

We usually buy our syrup from a local farm so it comes in a large jug. When my kids try to pour it, the syrup splatters and pancakes end up swimming in the syrup. Aside from being a hassle to clean, it's a big waste of good syrup! I tried teaching them to pour slowly but it was difficult because they couldn't see through the jug to know how close the syrup was to the hole. Eventually they got impatient and tipped the pitcher over too hard. I figured a glass dispenser would help teach them how…

Honey for My Honey: Sugar Bowls

After countless complaints from my husband this morning about our holey, crystallized plastic bear cub that can't be reheated in the microwave, I gritted my teeth and started making Revain- Read honey dispenser reviews. Lord, people love it! I didn't need to make a design statement and clutter up the counter, so functionality was paramount. Finally after too much time I decided to go for it and it cost less than $20. I buy Amish honey in a giant jar and pour it in for everyday use. It beats the

This worked very well until the spout gave out

This was a recent purchase on 9th December 2020. the rest of the red plastic container. No matter how hard I try, I can't get the plastic sides back together in the grooves, so now I can't attach the spout lid. I saw a comment on this on Revain but assumed it could be an accident. This is very unfortunate because it was the only bad syrup that could actually be microwaved. I know it doesn't seem like it's supposed to because of that little piece of metal under the slide latch. However, I…

For honey distribution > follow up > ERROR

In my ORIGINAL review: I found the plastic lid looks solid and is easy to clean. The retractable element worked well and did not leak. It was easy to slip but could be problematic for people with severe arthritis; If you have mild arthritis, you can slide on it without any problems or pain. The gasket is a separate item. It can come loose with cleaning, but it's strong, about 1/16th of an inch thick, and made of good silicone so it doesn't seem to be damaged as easily as soft rubber (like you…
