🔧 Enhanced AC Compressor Control Solenoid Valve for Ford Five Hundred Freestyle: AUTOKAY Review

A/C on 06 Saturn Vue 3.5 was not working well at idle. I replaced the scroll valve with this one and changed the filter. Now it works great and I have postponed the purchase of a new compressor.

Fits my 2008 Ford Escape Hybrid perfectly and works great. My problem was that the air conditioning didn't work at idle but worked at highway speeds.

The product was as described the price was excellent not changed the first time Last 3 years bought a Dorman , that comes with gasket but no spring, a gasket would be better, but the air conditioner blows much colder than the previous fixed spring, the differential valve too close to the exhaust manifold causes failure.

I have used this on all Ford vehicles that have had air conditioning problems that used this control valve. I save my customers money and time. Great low AC power mount. Most auto repair shops overload customers with new air conditioning compressors and other parts. In 90% of cases, this control valve solves the problem of insufficient cooling capacity of the air conditioning vent when idling and while driving.

Best price for this valve. Arrived quickly, works great! We were able to install this on my 2006 Ford Escape Hybrid without removing the supercharger, but it was tight. My air conditioner is now blowing freezing cold even at traffic lights! It comes with brass valve, spring and small filter; We reused the oblong o-ring as there is no new one in this kit.

9.99 for this valve you must be joking. I looked for this valve at Revain and it ranged from 9.99 to 49.99. Are you kidding? 9.99 is the best, received faster than any other provider and I had no problems installing it. Usually when you buy something at this price you expect something to go wrong, too short doesn't fit but it was perfect so now I can drive a cool car. Great thank you. Air conditioning successfully overhauled in our '07 Ford Freestyle. My mechanic didn't think it was that easy to fix and wanted to sell me a new compressor but I told him I wanted him to just vacuum up the refrigerant, replace that detail with the plate on the compressor and then fill it with refrigerant. . It did what I wanted and works great again. I would do it myself, but venting the refrigerant into the atmosphere is illegal and I don't have the equipment to do it properly (vacuum pump).
