I had a ripped air intake on a 2007 Infiniti M35. A proprietary replacement costs over $200. As others have mentioned, this was the perfect replacement. I asked the mechanic to do this and he had no complaints and he got it done in 30 minutes of work. IDEAL solution.

Bought to replace intake manifold 05 G35. Couldn't find the original part. It works fine, but it really took some work to install. Heat soaked it in very hot water, then he frothed it up, using a steel coffee cup at each end to expand the diameter so he could pry it over the air intake. But it worked!

Easy to install. Make sure all hoses and electrical connections are disconnected before removing the cover and hose assembly. We continue to loosen the clamp on the throttle body and the clamps on the air filter housing cover. Then remove the top half of the air cleaner cover and hose as a unit. To install, simply follow the uninstall process in reverse order.

Ideal for 2006 M35x Air Intake Sleeve. There was a crack in the shafts that caused me to have a vacuum leak at idle, so I bought this product because the diameter is close enough to fit our car. You'll need some petroleum jelly to lubricate the smaller end, but other than that it was a breeze. This thing saved me $219 at the dealer.

Had to pull and pry to tighten the small end on one of the fittings (2006 Infiniti M35). It took about 15 minutes to do everything including pulling out the air box, another plastic air duct element and the engine compartment cover. Much cheaper than a $200+ replacement part available from Nissan. Now all the dirty air is out of the engine.

Great, my G35X had a cracked intake boot and the dealer only sells the whole unit with the MAF body for about $200. This item appears to be of high quality and was a bit difficult to put on one side as it is smaller than the other side. But after 15 minutes of hard work it was going well. The trick is to lubricate the rubber with petroleum jelly so it slides easily. First I put the smaller side on the DMRV body and then the installation went without any problems.

What I don't like is that one side is smaller than the other, that would be perfect, but one side is smaller than the other one, I want the same size, the larger size corresponds to the other side, the other side of the smaller but largest size corresponds to my consumption, but the smaller part must be the same size, so that they have to return it is a pity, but that would be fine

I would be wrong if I didn't share my story. So, I recently bought an Infiniti m35x and the rubber head that connects the air duct to the engine broke. The person I used with b4 taped it to fix it (temporary repair) when I looked for the part the dealer and competitors said I should buy the whole part for $214. I decided to purchase this part before ordering a new one and I'm glad I did. The item fit perfectly. Just need some oil on the small side to stretch it to size.
