Working as expected. However, I bolted mine to the workbench so the stand doesn't move and I don't have to use two hands to plug and unplug the radio.

Don't buy this, you have a VX-6r you want to charge. It doesn't work with the factory power supply either. The only one it can work for is 7R as it is printed on the charger. suspicious is the large list of models it is supposed to work for.

I bought this because of the headline, which clearly calls for a VX-6R. I was hesitant due to the pile of bad reviews, but at least it was a cheap gamble. When the charger is connected, the LED flashes three times, and this is the limit of the device's lifespan. The radio has no charge indicator. Why 2 stars? Because of the charger itself. The wall adapter fits snugly into the radio and I get the prompt "CHGING". So it's not a total loss, but definitely a disappointment.

I bought this charger after another brand DOA arrived. It works with my Yeasu VX5 and charges both my Yeasu batteries and after maket batteries. It's made of lightweight plastic and slides around. The base has holes for attachment. The LED lights up when the battery is charging, but remains orange at all times. You have to look at it to see the green color that indicates full charge.
