Anyone who has ever inflated inner tubes from old truck tires knows that if you inflate them from the outside they will inflate with elongated or curved sides. When the chamber arrived I pumped in enough air to check for leaks. After making sure there were no leaks beforehand, I blew it off and installed it as instructed. After installation I inflated it back to the desired PSI (70 lbs) and it works as it should.

I bought these tires as I am also restoring an old Schwinn. Both hoses were inflated to 70psi and then deflated very slowly. I took off the hoses, let us down a little. kept her under water.
