I like it, thank you for the quality product.

I bought it directly in the USA with shipping, it turned out at a price of about 4500, which is almost two times cheaper than taking it in the 2022. In general, the impressions are mixed. Despite the name and form factor, this is already more of an Android TV set-top box than a classic Chromecast, although Google Cast support is retained. If you need a pure Chromecast, then this device is probably an overkill. The quality of third-party software for the platform was not impressive. VLC is…

Pros
  • A new, powerful player, a worthy successor to the Chromecast series, which is generally more of an Android TV set-top box. Support for 4K, support for new codecs, it is possible to install applications adapted for Android TV directly from the store, which solves the problem with some cinemas that do not have Google Cast support, the remote control is included. There is support for WiFI AC (5GHz), Bluetotoh, you can connect not only the remote control but also joysticks and even play compatible games
Cons
  • If earlier Chromecast was an independent device, plugged it into the network, connected it to the Internet and use it, now you need to make a Google account. Starts slower than earlier devices, requires plugging into an outlet. uses 1.5A current, it is no longer possible to power from the TV. Soft - due to the fact that the product is not sharpened for the 2022 market, it is offered mainly foreign. There are also 2022 services, but not all applications, even officially sharpened for Android TV, are launched, although Kinopoisk works fine. I really didn’t like how YouTube now works with the device, instead of “thrown a video from a smartphone, it plays and after that the standby mode” the device lives its own life, stubbornly turns on auto-play and plays random videos.

I really like the product, it fully meets my expectations.

If the task is to watch videos in 4K on streaming platforms (netflix, amazon, appletv +, youtube) - an ideal piece of iron. But do not expect functions from it beyond the above - it will be inconvenient, then take the Apple TV 4K. Better than any Chinese whistle - the presence of official certification from all the leading streamers, and without this you will not watch anything in 4K either on Netflix or on Amazon.

Pros
  • Inexpensive, with full Netflix and Amazon certification (You can watch streaming in 4k, on the same Amazon - you can’t exceed 1080p in the browser, so such a set-top box is the only option for 4k). Suddenly - there is and works Apple TV +, in 4k.
Cons
  • There is no separate optical sound output, no separate USB for drives, no wired network and other whistles. Which is forgivable for the price of this device. Of the interfaces - only USB for power (but you can connect a hub and something else if you really need it) and hdmi. Minimalism.

The product is good, there are only a few minor flaws.

I understand that the new Google TV system is more closed than the old Android TV. They are probably moving towards the legalization of software and content. It suits me. The work of the set-top box did not cause any discomfort, in some ways it is even more convenient than Apple TV 4k Some pros: Nimble. (plex is better primed than Apple TV) Easy to handle, Compact and portable. Voice search is very convenient. ScreenShare works great. You can immediately send a movie to the screen from your…

Visually, it works faster than xiaomi mi box s, this is due to the processor, it is a little more powerful or with the google tv shell, I don’t know for sure. The google tv shell looks fresher than the usual Android tv, I got used to it quickly. From the convenience of voice control and search in general: it only works in certified applications, such as Netflix, YouTube and the play market in other applications, the search does not work, it simply does not display them on the main screen…

Pros
  • Takes up little space, plugged into HDMI and that's it. Ideally, if the TV is on the wall, it is not visible at all.
Cons
  • The plug is American, but for me it was not a problem, the output on the usb wire is normal, any block for 100 or from an old smartphone will do.

On the forums, some people complain about the lack of support for surround sound, but as I understand it, not all applications have adapted the sound for this device. I just have stereo. I took this device without special need, because there is a built-in smart in TV, but it is 2022, I wanted to be newer, smoother. I thought that I would give it to my relatives, if I understand that extra. little sense from the device. Add. I really haven’t learned the sense yet, but it looks like I’ll leave it

Pros
  • The remote immediately made friends with the TV and with the amplifier. Those. in many ways, the need to use other remote controls has disappeared, it's really convenient. The interface works very well, applications can be seen that the darkness.
Cons
  • The assistant, in my opinion, is not needed, so it’s okay that he doesn’t speak 2022 yet (and the interface itself is 2022, everything is fine here). Broadcasting from a computer through Chrome did not impress in any way. When searching for applications in the store, at some point it showed only the presence of channels of the same name on YouTube or the nearest places on the map with a similar name XD. I had to find it easily from the list in the right category. They will probably fix it, but what kind of business is this)

Excellent product, the best quality.

Has some pros: The console remote works with the TV. Convenient interface. Minimum lags and brakes Its cons: Fussing with the google play market it is, but in its normal form it only starts through the settings. If I hadn't looked at the reviews, I would have looked

Very satisfied, all applications work, do not blunt, a large selection. I came with a plug that was not ours, but they tied the adapter to the box, it sparkled with the adapter in the socket, it was too long to stand behind the TV set, I found a similar cord with a normal plug at home) Convenient, but very slippery remote control. I hoped that I would replace the main one with this remote control, but our TV set said "it won't work for you", although it works fine on other devices (

Pros
  • Nimble, comfortable
Cons
  • Slippery remote. The remote did not match with the Sharp TV

He calmed down his shopmania and instead of buying a new TV set, he endowed the already rarely used old 2022 purchase with brains. In fact, only for the movie pub and was needed. I am satisfied with the purchase. It costs its money, but there is a mibox from xiaomi, which seems to be in no way inferior except for the dimensions and form factor, but it costs less. Got pros: Compatible with older TVs - you can adjust the volume and switch between media sources When the device wakes up, it turns

Some pros: Excellent set-top box on Android TV, everything works well, all applications are available and work great. In developer mode, and this is just 7 clicks on the button on the remote control, you can install all sorts of pirated cinemas like Kinopub and watch movies via torrents. All standard TV functions such as HDR and Dolby Vision are supported everywhere, at least tested on Netflix and YouTube. (On the Internet they claim that HDR does not work on YouTube - a lie). Different cons: T

A practical product, nothing to complain about.

At first I was pleased with the purchase - I liked the materials, the remote control, etc. but as I used it, it came to an understanding that, in general, I didn’t get anything compared to the same Mi-TVbox on AndroidTV, which costs 2 times cheaper. The same lags in the system from time to time, the same functionality. With its pros: Compact size, convenient remote control, TV control via HDMI (you can turn it on / off, control the volume from the set-top box remote control). Got cons: In fact,

I bought a second device and included a power adapter with a euro plug. I was delighted, because the previous keychain was with an American plug. But the adapter turned out to be low-power - 5v 1.5a. This device will not run. He needs at least 5v 2a. The box was sealed, no signs of replacement. Very strange.

Some pros: 1) Nice materials. The board is very pleasant to the touch. 2) Specs don't lie, 4k 3) A full-fledged android TV, the ability to install applications and standalone operation of the set-top box without a computer Has cons: 1) The casting itself is still damp, in fact. When you try to broadcast even YouTube from Google Chrome, ridiculous problems arise, it may start from the second or third time, or it may not start at all (wi-fi checked, factory reset did not help). From time to time

One of the best deals, glad I bought this.

I will add to the above - the device turned out to be in the size and style of Chromecast of previous generations + much wider in functionality (with goodies, such as HDR and dolby support) - consider it a full-fledged STB from the creator of Google TV - which means you can safely expect frequent ates / feature drops (for example, support for the same Stadia). For a couple of days of use, no problems were identified - compared to the second-generation chromecast, everything is more stable and…

Pros
  • The usual Chromecast form factor and size + shell / UI Google TV with the ability to install compatible applications (not all Android applications will work, even through sideload apk) + remote control, everything works without glitches.
Cons
  • So far, no minuses have been identified in the device itself, except that it’s hard to order in the states (Google store, where there is a stock, always cancels most orders from non-US cards, and accessibility is a problem on other marketplaces), and 2022 hucksters are fierce (~ 8K RUR against 50 USD - it's kind of overkill)

Exactly as promised by the manufacturer, high quality.

Some pros: An excellent device among similar ones, there is certification from Netflix and Apple TV to watch original content, without crutches. 2GB of RAM for Chromecast is more than enough, everything flies (including viewing dozens of GB content from torrents), the software is optimized. The kit also came with a Tefal adapter, and not a Chinese noname (as happened with the Nest Mini). The remote came out more interesting than the “whistle” itself (Chromecast). Its cons: Note, but not a drawb

The product is average, Im not sure its worth the money.

Pros below: Compared with mi box s, the remote control is better, synchronization with TV and speaker is better. Different cons: It is not possible to customize the home screen with favorite channels or movies from apps. We are waiting for ates, they can fix it.

Great quality, happy with it one hundred percent!

A great way to make a dumb TV smart, or make a smart TV convenient. With its pros: Calmly digests heavy content in almost any format, including HDR. Compared to native webOS on a TV, Android TV (or already Google TV?) delights simply in that it can be used without experiencing a constant feeling of PAIN. The IR remote control is an ingenious solution that almost completely eliminates the problem of HDMI-CEC implementation curves in 99% of TVs. Got cons: For some reason, he cannot agree with…
