What is NOT entirely clear is that the cables come unassembled. I had to hire an electrician to install the wiring, which cost me BIG MONEY! If I had known that the lamp comes disassembled, I would never have bought it! 😡

I'm literally obsessed with them! They were so easy to install. Personally, I didn't "hardwire" them, but used Pok-Lights. I removed the cord. The cable was very easy to remove with our damage if I wanted to reconnect it in the future. You are worth every penny. You make my appearance!

That's exactly what I imagined. I was afraid they would stick out too much, but they don't. Very easy to assemble and install. Both took me about 15 minutes. The dimmer works great and I love it about these lamps. It makes my room look like a furniture store showroom! God, HGTV, just hire me already!

This is so cool! I used them on both sides of the bed to free up space on the bedside tables. They're wired/plug-in optional - the only oddity is that even though they're plug-in lights, you still have to play around with the light wiring. Not too hard to figure out, but it looks like the default setting for these lights is a hardware option. However, once they were installed we were so excited. The dimming function is fantastic. Please note that these lights do not come with bulbs.

The only problem with the light is the installation instructions. They don't mention that you first need to attach the box plate (included) to the wall, although all the hardware needed for assembly is included. They also included a 3 position terminal block with no instructions on what to do with it. You must make all internal electrical connections yourself, they are NOT pre-wired. So if you are not handy, installation can be difficult. You can't just hang it up and plug it in.

I love the way they look above my bedside tables and I love that they are dimmable. At first I used LED bulbs (pictured) and one of the bulbs kept flickering. I replaced them with halogen bulbs and the flickering stopped. Installation was a little tricky because the exposed wire on each was so small I had to strip them further to twist the wires together. That's because I prefer cooler LED daylight bulbs.

I love the look of this wall light! It's both functional and trendy, and it goes perfectly with my black desk. I needed a lamp to light up my small dining room and it definitely fits! I installed this light a few months ago and I love it! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that it took me a bit of time to figure out how to set up the wires for hardwiring (and there weren't any real instructions on how to do it). I bought this to make room for my lamps on my bedside tables. They look great and are of decent quality. My main concerns are the assembly and design of my headboard. Build - I don't think I could have figured that out without a lot of googling or watching youtube.
