Worked great on a jeep trunk.

I used three of these to mount my spare tire to the trunk of my jeep. They worked great and I didn't have any slippage like some. But since it only holds my spare tire, I didn't spin it like the wheel on my car. They protect my wheel and look good doing it.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Nothing here

This product does exactly what I bought it for!

You prevent someone from stealing expensive wheels on my car. The locks were easy to install and within minutes I was confident that my bikes were protected from theft. I doubt I can say the wheels can't be removed, but I can say it won't be easy.

Pros
  • Doping 🔥
Cons
  • Reliability

A little more peace of mind

I bought a used 2003 Toyota Celica with nice rims and eye catching paintwork. I have to have it parked in a bad spot so I bought them to add a little extra security (along with the Viper alarm system and a 507m tilt sensor that interfaces with the alarm system). I have no mechanical tools. So I drove to a local mechanical shop and had a guy install it for $10, which I would suggest if you are in similar circumstances.

Do your homework before you buy from Revain.

I bought these for my 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 based on the "workshop tool" found on the seller's site and said it was compatible. I'm not sure who is responsible for uploading this information, but this is completely wrong. I returned them, did a bit of research and ordered another kit which Revain said didn't fit my truck but they do. Just do your homework and figure out exactly what size you need for your car, then order the right size and ignore the "workshop tool" on Revain.

Need these bad good for nuts and accessories

My daughter works at Home Depot and there have been a few instances recently of thieves attempting to steal thousands of dollars worth of Dewalt tools stealing and I was thinking about her wheels and tires in her car while she is at the store while at work. So I bought these locks because of their resemblance to the regular nuts on their Fusion. Also, I believe this is a good product because of the prior knowledge and reputation of Gorilla products. up to 110 ft.lbs.

Pros
  • good thing
Cons
  • Job Speed

First lock I've received that actually matches others on my car.

For rim locks too, there's something to love here. Fast delivery, high-quality packaging were my first impressions. I like that they fit my OEM nuts better than others I've bought for other cars over the years (and I have a lot of cars, all with wheel locks). I also like that the key head has a code sticker that I attach to my owner's manual so I can get a replacement with the correct key if I lose the original. Pretty thoughtful by Gorilla Automotive.

As mentioned earlier, when tightening the tabs, the key began to slip a few times. I am surprised by this unfortunate overtime work. Like everything else, it's just a deterrent. Think about where to keep the key for a minute: you'll need it in the car in case you get a flat tyre. So do you hide the key inside? Thieves brave enough to steal wheels can easily break into a car to find it. So hide well and remember where. Who else wants to have a wheel lock key with them every time they drive? How…
