Ford Econoline, the nut has a movable guard around the protective part of the nut. I don't know how anyone could take it off if you didn't have the key. At least not a quick wipe. I'm sure the store could do it if you lose your key. Robust construction I can't really say anything negative about it.

I have these for 17 RAM 1/2 ton 4x4. They are slightly longer than the factory nuts, maybe 1/4 inch or so longer. They work great! If you have good wheels that you want to keep, you need them. Most wheel lock thieves can remove the wheel lock very easily, but the design makes it very difficult for them to do so.

Great product! Fast delivery (as always with Prime). Good price. Most old locks are easy to pick. They have a freely rotating cover/lid that deters most attempted theft. They recommend buying an extra key - if you lose the one you have (and can't find the key code that came with it) you're in trouble.

When my 2014 GMC Sierra 1500 had its stock wheels stolen I figured I would use this kit to prevent my new wheels and tires from being stolen, and at least stop the thief in time. I used this set in addition to the Gorilla Automotive 76644N "The System" Duplex Wheel Locks and replaced one of the security grommets so I now have four additional security grommets and about ten extra minutes of work to remove the wheel.

Whether you want to protect your investment or just deter theft, these locks are the right choice. There are many options, but none of them compare to Gorilla's design, unique key bindings, and choice of materials. I NEVER worry about my truck wheels "disappearing". Of course, don't keep the key in our center console or glove box when they are locked.

I've had another pair of the same size on my truck in the last 5 years. They're just starting to get little rust spots. I think they can still be defeated, but they are harder to defeat than normal ones. You can use pullers on it (the outer rim spins freely) or just hammer a head on it (the gap isn't big enough).
