Instructions are ridiculous

When it arrived I realized it wasn't what I needed and asked for it to be returned. I was told I would get a $19.99 credit but to keep the CD player. Revain certainly stocks these returns! The written instructions do not match the examples on the CD. I spent an entire morning with pen and paper trying to trick the makers of this CD. I GIVE UP. I can't even donate to Goodwill! I'll be looking again for a light and simple CD player so I can play recorded library books on my deck.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Will do

Still works perfectly after 4 years!

I bought this for my 3 year old son as he wanted to play his CDs. First we tried it with batteries. After 2 days the CD stopped working. It turned but no sound. We found that the batteries were dead. We decided it's better to use it when connected to the network. More than 6 months have passed and it still works well despite the baby's daily teasing. Not the best sound quality but I think it's a good choice for a toddler. It is very easy to use and seems to last a long time.

Pros
  • Easy setup
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

AM/FM works as expected but the CD player is terrible. Most of the time it doesn't work, and when you can finally get it to work, it takes a very long time to read the disk. I've tried using brand new CDs in it, so I know the problem isn't with the CD itself. I wanted to send it back for a better one and shipping back would cost me about half what I paid for it so it wasn't worth it. I think if you're just looking for a radio (AM/FM) it will do the job for you, but I wouldn't recommend this…

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Not the best
