Graco Sharpe 289221 Mini HVLP FX1000 Paint Review

Had to use a 26 gallon compressor but it's good for bumpers and small jobs. If you are a person with a posable body, this is the weapon for you.

I have been painting cars for 2 years now. I was very excited to see that Amazon is taking care of this spray gun, I bought it cheap here and it came quickly and for the price if you keep it clean these guns will last you a couple of years. I use it to apply paint, works great as far as is clear it's a good gun, but I'd use SATA instead.

I have a mobile auto body shop and repair car paint and rims. I have Fx1000 and Fx3000 with 1.0, 1.2, 1.3 and 1.4mm tips. They are all I use and have worked great for over 3 years. I had to replace parts on one gun when the other wore out after a year, but I still feel it's a good deal for the money. Good product!

Nice little pistol detail. Sprayed water-based paints and cleaned small items like helmets, goggles and motorcycle cans. Fills the gap between an airbrush and a full size gun. My main criticism has to do with the design of the cup and the way it picks up paint in the groove of the thru bolt/nut. A solid cup with only an external thread makes cleaning much easier. Otherwise this little gun sprays very well and the size is perfect for my needs.

I have a mobile device repair company and I bought this gun as a replacement and honestly am not wasting my money. But I needed a quality backup gun for my Sata Minijet 3000b and this gun didn't impress me in the least. The quality, fit and finish are very good (particularly the black chrome and blue anodized aluminum parts) and the needle and blower controls feel firm and secure. Unlike many cheaper plastic barreled guns, it comes with a stainless steel barrel and since the material I'm spraying is acetone pure, a metal barrel is a must. I bought this gun because I only paint motorcycle parts (fenders, tanks, fairings). I hesitated because a lot of people told me that the minigun is only good for repairs, but that's not true.
