🔴 Premium 1" Red Replacement Strap for PetSafe Bark & Containment Collars - Enhanced Fit & Durability (No-Bark Collars / Accessories) Review

I ordered a purple Sparky collar which was great and as a result I bought this red collar thinking they would be made the same way. This one is made from a much lighter and more slippery material that slips through the adjustment buckle too easily. It's not as heavy as what I originally bought.

This collar is a perfect replacement for the original collar that came with the Petsafe IF-100 Wireless Pet Restraint System. I clipped the transmitter to my collar and we quickly got back to business. I can't tell any difference from the original, except that this one is a bit stronger.

This product consists of a nice wide strap and has a nice chunky plastic buckle. However, the webbing shown in the picture does not exist. The buckle is held in place by a single layer of stitching. I'm pretty sure I'll modify this item with a sewing machine after the dogs break it. I don't think this is a "bad" product. It's crooked and I don't take it lightly.

I have no idea why they felt it necessary to send it in a non-recyclable bubble envelope. It doesn't look like it's going to break unless they run a forklift over it a few times. Good collar. Another problem is that it's too long. I'm going to take it to REI so I can use a seat belt cutter there to keep it from wearing out. However, this is not a blow to the product, especially if your dog has a wide neck. There is a lot of straps and it is very durable.

I bought it on purpose because it was 2.5 cm wide and I needed something very strong. Unfortunately, this collar is so thin that it cannot support the weight of the PetSafe Wireless Fence Receiver. It keeps slipping in the loops and coming loose to the point where it just falls off my dog's (5 month old 45 lb German Shepherd puppy) neck. Luckily that hasn't happened when she's out and I won't be using it long enough for that to happen. Why doesn't PetSafe just sell replacement collars?

I need a replacement pet collar and it fits perfectly. It works as expected. I'm a little disappointed with the thickness of the webbing - it's quite flimsy. hope it lasts a while. Update: I downgraded my rating as the collar keeps slipping off. I had to tie a knot in the strap to hold it in place. Very disappointed that the slide doesn't work properly because the straps are too thin even when folded in half. I can just buy a sturdy regular collar and burn holes to fit the electronics.

Disappointed. I bought two of these collars a few years ago and they have been great. They are faded but otherwise still in good condition after being carried outside daily by our two dogs. I was now expecting the same plain collar, but the side with the buckle receiver is no longer stitched; it looks like they're using some sort of thermal bonding process instead.
