Gravel is gravel for fish and aquatic life

I have no idea what Revain means when they want me to rate it "Plumbness". It's gravel, not a curtain. I had to fill the bottom of the bird bath for weight and it worked.

This is rock. suitable for aquarium substrate

This is a stone. It looks great when wet and I really don't know what else to say about the stone. Oh, if you're not sure if 5 pounds is enough, just go for 2, it probably won't.

Great for planters! It is also pretty!

I was looking for gravel for my pots; decided to give it a try - glad I did! :D Perfect size, just rinse and voila! Ready to go! Some of them are too good to be buried *under* the dirt (I'll admit I'm a rockhound, heh) - I didn't let them in to put on the TOP pots! :D Already ordered a second bag - a wonderful thing! Feel free to order - sure glad *I* didn't! :)

Natural look for my bedside tank

Loved the way they look on the bottom of my tank. Approximately 1 foot by 1 foot, one bag was enough to cover the bottom of the tank. The stones were very good quality stones, great color combination and a few random geodes in the mix. I definitely recommend rinsing them before using them in the aquarium, but they look great! I'll add a photo soon and update after the first attempt to clean the tank.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Communication with seller

Meets my needs, moderate price

Bought 2 of these as a Revain certified used listing. One bag was clearly unopened and the correct weight (5 pounds). The other bag was previously opened and weighed less than 0.5 pounds (as if someone bought it, pulled out what they needed, and returned the rest). Overpriced for the quantity received but attractive and does the job intended (ingredient for DIY sand cactus/succulent potting mix). I was very careful with the color/appearance of the finished mix and it worked out well.

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Quality

Nice when it's wet.

Granite pebbles are great and beautiful when wet. However, they were dirty and damp and had to be rinsed thoroughly before use. The fact that they were covered in mud leads me to believe they have a granite beach somewhere in Canada. The seller simply pours in a bucket of pebbles and throws them through a sorting machine to sift them to size. They then pack them in a labeled bag and ship them. However, if you don't care about dirt and plan to clean the pebbles in any way. They are excellent as…

The perfect addition for displaying succulents

A beginner hoping to grow healthy succulents and reading that river rocks help control moisture levels, which is critical to succulent success. As a beginner I didn't want to spend a lot of money and found they fit what I'm looking for. The stones range in size from medium to tiny and I would say most are 1/4-1/2" long. I planted my first bush, see photos and you can see how the pot looks decorative .Raise your head, they are packed in a large plastic bag and, most likely due to being stored in

Pros
