Description of Granite Ware Covered Round Roaster

Hold up to 3 lbs poultry with the lid on. Porcelain enamel surface is an inert, non-porous and naturally non-stick surface. No PFOA, PTFE or other harmful chemicals & is Dishwasher safe. Safer than foil roasters, browns better and cooks more evenly. The dark porcelain surface absorbs the ovens energy and evenly distributes it so the contents are evenly cooked. Granite Ware Roaster is Made in Mexico.

Large solar pot

I use this pan for solar cooking. Solar works best with dark, light-colored pots and pans. Granite cookware does just that. Because it has no handles, this particular pot fits perfectly in a large pyrex bowl, and with a second large pyrex bowl flipped over at the top and secured with brackets, it makes a solar oven. What's not to love! Look at these measurements.

I only wanted to give 4 stars because other reviewers were concerned about the longevity of the pan. However, my pan has no visible defects, it is uniform and solidly made, the lid fits perfectly and the price is very reasonable. Also, I've already used this pan to bake bread for one of those "craft" recipes and the bread was pretty good - hence 5 stars! When baking bread, this pan is much safer to use than cast iron or earthenware. Ovens typically recommended for baking "artisan" bread at…
