I love that you don't have to tap it and wait for it to reset. They just show up. Two features that might make a difference: 1) it keeps your weight on the display for quite a while, and 2) it remembers your last weight and the display seems to start from there and ramp to your weight come". The problem with the new scale is that it's probably more accurate than the 30 year old scale I currently use. One of them is out but I don't think it's new. This is ONLY a scale. It doesn't track you, offer advice or anything else. You step on it, it weighs you and displays the weight in LARGE readable numbers (which I can see even without glasses). The scales we have are VERY accurate and weigh almost the same as the scales in our doctor's offices. I am very happy with this scale. It is beautiful to look at, thin and unobtrusive, easy to read and reliable in determining weight. I won't say "accurate" because "accurate" means it accurately reads your ABSOLUTE weight, but it doesn't have to. If you really need to know your weight to the ounce, you'll have to look elsewhere.
