I bought this because I needed to find a leak in my above ground pool. I poured half a bottle and after a few minutes the water turned green, but it's impossible to tell "where" the water goes! I ended up having to drain all the water from the pool and even during that process you couldn't "see" the water going down the drain so it was a total waste. The product arrived quickly and appears to work as advertised. Tested in toilet tanks to see if flapper valves are leaking. Highly concentrated, about half a teaspoon will turn a full tank a bright fluorescent green. Used about a half gallon to find the source of the excess water leaking into the sump pump system. Not sure where my previous review went but here is an update: when I received the item the paint color was orange. The label is the same as the photo but the color of the dye inside the bottle is definitely orange. It will also turn your clothes orange. After pouring the orange liquid down the drain and dissolving/mixing it with water, it turns into the brightest green you've ever seen. Drains works great! I will buy again. The seller is great!

Does it work? Yes! Repeat client here. If you want to watch the stream at night, buy the recommended UV or "black light" flashlight. It works out! I believe the product does what it is supposed to do. I just misunderstood how this is supposed to work. I applied the suggested amount to my pond to find a leak. However, it turns out I couldn't track the leak (perhaps due to a leak in the ground?).
