Perfectly drilled without impact.

This pilot drill works great. The center mark does not need to be punched. Simply place the center of the pilot drill where you want to drill, hold it and start drilling. I punched a few holes in 18 gauge steel and each one started right where I wanted it with no hesitation or marking, just as advertised.

Great for stainless steel

These bits never have a problem and I use them on stainless steel all the time. Some people have trouble breaking them with a hand drill. If using with 645-011, the trick is to first punch a pilot hole without an external hole saw gauge. Most breaks occur when the outer hole saw first grips the metal.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Available in white only

Bits break often

So the quick change kit is really good but it seems the bit is designed to click so you will buy more. I've done 3 or 4 holes in the last 6 months. There is a 1/4 inch to 3/16 inch step at the tip, probably to make starting the first hole easier. However, once you get the first shot down, unless you're perfectly straight and have perfect trigger control, the 1/4" portion will grab and snap the club. A regular 1/4 inch end will likely lengthen the racquet. much longer. From now on I will be…
