Do not buy for hand tools

I am an electrician and used it daily for 2 weeks until it broke. I am very disappointed with the durability. Wouldn't recommend it. I wish there was a way to guarantee that.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Functionality

Some elbow lubrication is required.

Works well but requires some effort. Be sure to run your finger along the edge to ensure there are no burrs. You may want to use a semi-circular file. Looking back, I would buy a reamer to go with my cordless drill.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Pay a little more for a better sweep.

This is the cheapest reamer you can buy and you get what you pay for. Yes it works but the blades aren't as sharp as Southwire or Klein reamers so there's a lot more sag which is annoying and time consuming. I will try to install a small spare part.

Pros
  • High test results for hold and durability
Cons
  • Miscellaneous Miscellaneous

Great little hand reamer

Feels very strong, does a great job of deburring the canal, same as the Klein hand reamer, only thing better is the drill bit. I like the light green color, it catches the eye. I don't really like a lot of Greenlee's stuff for various reasons, but it's a solid tool at a better price. Highly recommended.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

Not a professional tool.

A reamer was needed that was visually different from Klien tools for easier identification. It was the only plus for the money. The 1/2" reamer broke within 2 weeks. 3/4" and 1" still remain. I stopped using this tool the second time I tried it on a 1/2-in -EMT to use. Replaced by Klein. I'm sorry Greenlee. Nice try.

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Long delivery time

I'm so glad I didn't spend double the money just to have it.

Small Small Small is all I hear on the construction site. This reader is used every damn day and I haven't had a single problem with it. I put 1/2", 3/4" and 1" in with it with no problem. I use this thing all the time with a set of screw connectors and ferrules. I was impressed by the color. I'm so glad I didn't Spending twice the money just to have the Klein brand I knocked that crap out and it continues to do what I need.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Slightly crumpled

Back to Klein's

I finally had to replace my 7 year old Klein reamer. I decided to change it since most Klein products are now made in China. The part that encloses the canal on the outside in this scan is broken off. The only remaining size that still works is 3/4. It's easy to find in my tool bag because it's the only green thing I have. In general, the life of this reamer is short. I've had it for about 2 months and I want to go back to Klein.

Pros
  • Handy Thing
Cons
  • So far so good

One of the best electrician tools on the market!

Electronic retailer. I love this tool! These make very nice clean EMT tube ends when cut straight and clean. This thing has enough torque to tighten the most stubborn and hard-to-reach fasteners. It also won't slip. Personally I find it has a better grip than others on the market but we'll see how long it lasts before I write off the old clear yellow pens. A must if you work hard if the pipeline. I use it every day and now it's one of my favorite tools.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Quick start guide
