Came with dead 9 volt battery

I like the product itself, looks solid and works well but only after I bought a new 9 volt battery. The battery that came with it was sealed and looked new, but it was DOA.

Pros
  • Hands free
Cons
  • Fits

Was recommended to me by a friend who installs alarms in.

was recommended to me by a friend who installs business alarms and such (never heard of that brand before) and I'm so glad he showed me this brand. Lifetime Guarantee. mmm yes please More features than other more expensive brands. Thank you for a great Greenlee product!

Almost too easy to use

I'm used to having multimeters with two or more dials that need to be set to the appropriate function and range before you can take a reading. This meter can automatically recognize what you are measuring and provide readings without any further adjustments. It's as simple as turning on the meter, touching the probes to the connection points, and reading the display.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Updates available

Lost my $300 meter (I'll find more for sure). I didn't want to spend another 300€ to replace the meter. I found this one that has more features or a fraction of the price. The case is very solid, the cables are well made. This device will serve me for many years. Thanks for the provided device!

Pros
  • A sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • Dubious purchase for the elderly

Seems accurate

I bought the DM-45 to replace and upgrade the DM-20 I bought a few years ago. It's nice to have the new features that I have in this meter. I was disappointed that there was no histogram. It was stated that this feature was available on this model, but not in the bones. I can live without her. When the meter is off it means my DM-20 can use the calibration as when measuring the voltage at the output they show the same thing. It doesn't appear to be as well built as the DM-20 and this counter…

The best multimeter ever

I tested almost all the functions of this multimeter and everything worked perfectly. The sensors that come with it are good and of good quality. Haven't had it long enough to see how long the battery lasts. The case feels very solid and should take a lot of falls, although I don't plan on ever dropping or throwing mine. The screen is very easy to read, a large number. I've used several different brands of multimeters in my time as an electrical engineer, and Greenlee definitely makes the best.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Little things

You can push his button but he will turn you on!

As a professional electrician, I see tons of new gadgets hanging in hardware store aisles that usually turn out to be better ideas than actual products. The trend these days seems to include so many "features" that the original tool is unrecognizable and now does nineteen bad things instead of one good thing. It turns out there are more naive-eyed DIYers than merchants. Marketing chaos! Greenlee took a detour around Dumbeville and got a lot of things right with that little gauge - fewer. It's…

  • Easy to use
