Large Set of Magnetic Sockets

Great Set of Magnetic Sockets, just note they are not deep, the picture on Amazon is real. The magnets are strong enough for what you expect them to be. Their value was shown when I changed the power window behind the door panel and when installing/removing nuts that had fallen into the engine bay. All in all a great socket set with standard and metric sizes, extension and swivel adapter.

Pros
  • Package Dimensions: 5.588H x 36.576D x 24.637W (cm)
Cons
  • Out of fashion

Yes, magnets are very strong. You may find the bushing stays on the bolt when you pull the key out, but it's worth it. I would like to see them in a more compact package. The case they came in is pretty wasteful with space. It might be better to place them in the socket tree.

Usually found, but not always. And even if it did, it usually took a long time and was very uncomfortable. These jewels put an end to that. They hold the screw (and washers!) securely when you remove them, and just as important when you reach down to reinstall them in the threaded hole. If you work with your…
