I, too, am a victim of my own ignorance. I didn't read the dimensions. Some others said they didn't think it was over $20. When I bought it it was almost 40! Went back for sure. I've kept it for maybe 20 years, it's cute but the bottom says it's not for young children and I bought it for my 1 year old.

I'm so glad I ordered this set before ordering the full blockset. These colors and shapes are great, but they don't end there. I'd like some kind of finish, the texture doesn't feel smooth. They must have some kind of finish. by price.

We love our little rainbow. Before ordering, pay attention to the size as it is definitely a mini. My 2 year old daughter loved getting this as a gift in her Easter basket to mark the spring showers. She loves taking it apart, identifying colors, putting it back together, or balancing other toys in it. All in all, it was a simple but enjoyable toy for them to imagine new possibilities.

Exactly what I expected! Yes, it's small and no, the wood isn't shiny. I bought this for my "rainbow baby" who is only 5 months old. I will NOT let him play with it as long as it's just on a shelf as a nursery decor. Most will say it's under $20, but for minimalists like us who value quality over quantity, this toy is worth every penny! I was amazed that this item was almost 50.00 no bigger than my hand. Very disappointing and if I didn't have to bring a gift to the party today I would send it back.
