the weight of the equipment

The plastic wing nut came broken, so I had to make one out of aluminum on the lath. It was probably broken before it was packaged and shipped, being that no one looks at what they are shipping a customer anymore. Other than that the equipment works very well. It is a bit full of grease when you receive it, and it makes the adjustments rather difficult, but if you take the time to remove all that grease the item works very smoothly. POS a good door stop or boat anchor . Planer blade sharpener "Not so Much "

Like many other reviewers it is very simple . The adjustment is worse than bad ,the bed moves up ,down , sideways all with one turn of the knob . I sent the first one back and received yet another door stop in its place. I wish there was a decent option in this price range but can't seem to find anything under 800.00 . Don't bother with this machine it will disappoint you for sure .

Do not waste your time and money!

I purchased this direct from Grizzly and was very disappointing. I have been a faithful Grizzly purchaser and am very fond of their products, until the purchase of THIS machine.There is NO fine adjustment of it and when you go to move the blade up and down it is very erratic and binds up when you try to adjust.When you do get it to move, the back is the only thing that moves, changing the angle of the blade.
