Great soap! Less filling!

I don't know why it should be warm so I gave it 5 stars for that. This is my husband's car wash soap. And boy is he ever picky about his cars! I'm okay with that because now I don't have to wash them because I'm obviously doing it wrong. I overtighten the hose and rub off some paint molecules or something. Anyway, he loves this soap and buys it by the gallon. That's enough for him to thoroughly wash many cars for at least 5 years.

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Unfashionable

Worked as expected, after a few washes the existing wax was not removed from the car. Features an excellent measuring technique by turning the lid upside down and allows you to measure 1 ounce per dollar of water. One thing to remember when measuring is squeezing and then releasing as the air bubble needs to clear to get an accurate measurement of the soap. I ended up with 2 ounces of the first wash because I didn't account for the blister.

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • There are nuances

Perfect for washing your car after driving 6000 miles

This summer we drove both cars 6000 miles from Tucson, Arizona to Brooklyn, New York. We parked at the Brooklyn Cruise Terminal and headed back to Tucson, stopping en route to visit relatives in Haddonfield, New Jersey, and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. After all this distance and all this time (our trip lasted 76 days including the part when the cars just stood outside waiting for us to return to the Queen Mary 2 from Europe), all sorts of dirt accumulated in the cars. We ordered this product from

Good but no better than the old brand I used, 5 times the price

I use a lot of Griot workshop products and love them. When I discovered that I was running out of Meguiar's Gold Class car wash, I decided to buy this Griots' Garage car wash. I'm attaching a photo of the bottle I received in that order next to the ruler - the 16 ounce bottle is 6 inches tall. The Griot Garage car wash produced good suds and worked well. However, it didn't work any better than Meguiar's Gold Class Car Wash or several other car wash concentrates I've used in the past. I also…

Good soap. but NOT for black cars!

I have a black car that I am VERY picky about. I use wool gloves, the two-bucket method, sand protection, filtered dishwater, etc. I wash my car when the surface is cool and in the shade (often after sundown). Despite all the steps and thorough rinsing, it leaves heavy water stains that you need to remove afterwards. To its credit, it cleans great, has great lubricity, but doesn't wash off black cars well. I'm not a professional detailer, just a normal Joe who has been detailing his car to a…
