Small but strong! on a vise and pliers

On my old Honda my hood latch broke so I needed something to grab the cable and undo it. These little guys are great at it! Clamp tight and get the job done with ease! I saved a lot of money without having to replace the whole cable!

Release levers don't work

Need a small pair of pliers for a small set. I bought this kit and immediately noticed that the release levers didn't work. With very light clamping pressure they work at HIGH pressure, but with medium to high clamping pressure they don't work at all. I had to use some real bench vises to separate the handles of these pliers. I've since bought branded 4 inch locking pliers for $10-11 each and they work as expected.

The lock worked in place of the brushed water valve handle

These pliers are of poor quality and won't hold up to heavy use but for my purpose of locking the valve stem in a hard to access water valve I think they will do the job.
