Sharp and very well made

I used these nails on the basement roof. They worked very well. The head held the drill firmly without slipping. They are very sharp and will pierce through wood with ease. The price was very reasonable.

Pros
  • Sturdy cardboard box with window and descriptive label
Cons
  • Some bugs

These screws helped

My mahogany porch was built 5 years ago and the boys used nails instead of screws. My son replaced the nails with these Grip-Rite screws and they worked really well. Some of the boards started to warp a little since we live in snow country, but replacing the nails with these screws put the boards back in place and my porch looks brand new again!

Pros
  • About 43 pounds per pound
Cons
  • Disappear

Good screws. The price was current on 10/12/2013.

In desert summers, we get a lot of hot, dry days followed by really cold nights. These temperature changes actually pull the nails out of anything exposed to the elements. "We have multiple decks, multiple long boardwalks and a house front that always had nails sticking out and then the wood warped. Then I have to drive nails in at least once a year. That must have been a real problem on the decks and walkways and we are tripped over them or suddenly stopped pushing the snow shovel. It was time

Pros
  • 3-1/2" #10 Horn Head, #2 Transverse Drive
Cons
  • No Automatic
