Broken on first use

What? They broke while installing the lock on a wooden door. You have to remove the screw. Gotta make it stronger Afraid of the strength of the lock after using these screws.

Pros
  • Self-tapping screw; Self-drilling head
Cons
  • New competitors have emerged

Great screw!

Definitely worth the additional cost. Screws in quickly and easily, countersinks well and has a larger diameter than most wood screws of this size. And it holds up well after the set. I like SPAX products, but I like GRK products better.

Pros
  • For wood, chipboard, fiber cement board, plastic, sheet metal
Cons
  • You could have chosen a newer model

Better than Phillips head screws

The star shape of the head is far superior to Phillips head screws and the fact that they are screwed in alone complicates any job. much easier. I've basically replaced my hammer and nails with these screws and a cordless drill for home renovations and DIY projects and couldn't be happier.

Pros
  • Common project uses: Renovation, fences, storage, cabinets, frames
Cons
  • Doubtful
