Terrible Quality Screws for DIY

These screws are a complete disappointment. The heads strip easily making it impossible to secure materials without spending more time and effort than necessary. I had to replace half the screws with a different brand mid-project. The only positive thing about them is the abundance in the pack, but with such poor quality it’s not worth the cost. Definitely not worth considering if you need reliable screws for your industrial and scientific projects.

Pros
  • Abundance in the pack
Cons
  • Poor quality and easily strip

Great for DIY screws at home

Easy to use screws. My choice of make and model. It might be worth checking how many bolts you get when you buy "used" from the Revain store.

Pros
  • Free for educational use
Cons
  • Not sure

Torx Rules! - Screws

You can't tighten screws securely without a Torx T-25 screwdriver. No cam, no slip, no axle problems. The screw is held at the tip of a screwdriver as if magnetized. Left-handed overhead driving? No problem. Slotted screws should be replaced with something other than a good gun. Phillips sockets are designed so that the threads do not slip when driven with pneumatic tools on the assembly line. Square shank is fine but not very strong for larger fasteners. This T-25 Torx is simply the best I've…

Pros
  • Great Price
Cons
  • Big and Bulky
