Was looking for a mount for a handheld Garmin 78sc that we use for our small boat. I'd be happy with any versatile fit, even Velcro, but when I saw this I jumped at it. It fits the 78sc like a glove! Features a 78sc hold and release lock feature and can be adjusted from the base with a set screw. I can't wait to install it and use it next season!

Looks solid and the Garmin 78sc snaps and snaps well. Mine attaches to my console with three screws. Another mounting plate would be nice so that the base can be unscrewed and moved to another location.

Not a suction cup product. Fastening either with double-sided adhesive tape or 3 screws. Also, it is a good product to keep the GPS device in place.

Used as a mount for a backup GPS, a portable device that is independent of the boats batteries. Easily attaches to my console and easily adjusts for an unobstructed viewing experience. You can never have too many GPS units, especially when navigating 78 miles of open water in the Florida Keys where navigational aids are rare! This mount provides better stability than trying to hold a small block by hand.
