For some reason I have just placed a new order to replace the same Grohe hose I ordered from Revain about a year ago. At that time, the first hose that was delivered was badly leaking at the connection to the hand shower. Sent back and received replacement quickly from Revain and it worked fine. At least until now, after about 1 year, the metal outer shell has come loose and nearly cut my finger and also punctured the inner rubber hose causing it to leak. Never in my life would I have thought someone would make counterfeit Grohe shower hoses but I got 2 hoses, one from a third party and the other which is sold direct by Revain and costs 70% more, and the third party is clearly a fake. I suspect a lot of the bad reviews are because the reviewers received fakes, especially if they bought from third-party sellers.
