Slightly better than the competition

Well worn 6 or more popular Bialetti like these. Note that this handle is farther from the pot than the bialetti. My gas stove melted the ones closest to the pot. Black finish prevents coffee stains. I tried colored Bialettis but the color was still tinted.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Something is wrong

Probably not new

I had a Bialetti that I recently (stupidly) put in the dishwasher and had to replace. I figured maybe I'll try something different this time and ordered this product. I just received my package and opened the box. The first thing that caught my eye was the finish of the rubber grip. Of course I knew it was rubber, but the look wasn't as elegant as I had hoped. But okay. I then opened the top compartment and immediately decided to return this item. It was just gross. What is the delayed white…

With this pot you save money.

I have been using this 3 cup coffee maker for 5 months. Before that I relied on my Nespresso system at 0.70 per shot. While that's only a fraction of what an espresso costs at Starbucks, it can still go up. With my dime 3 cup espresso maker, I make a delicious cup of cappuccino every day for a fraction of the cost of a Nesspresso and/or Starbucks coffee. A dime coffee maker makes coffee, and I have a separate Aeroccino frother to make creamy cappuccino froth. To be fair, Nesspresso makes a…

Nice pot big disappointment in actual function

I don't know if it was just the one I bought or if they are all bad quality for the price but the hole where the coffee brew was cut very crooked. Not a good start for me as I opened the box to find it immediately. Secondly, I've used the pot maybe 3 or 4 times in total and tried different things like lowering the temperature to medium so the coffee spurts absolutely EVERYWHERE while brewing. It just squirts everywhere and even drips where the pen comes out, which is a waste of coffee. Also, I…

Great if you love burnt coffee

I've owned many coffee machines in my life and tried them all back and forth - from big brands like Imusa to other non-brands and I've never did you have such problems as with this coffee machine. I've been using mocha pots for 20 years so I know how to use them, but I haven't been able to make edible coffee with this pot. The first time I brewed coffee in it, it took me about 15 minutes to start brewing and I never pack the coffee in a basket and pour it very easily. Once it started brewing…
