Buy something else.

Useless. If I leave this junk in my truck, the lightbar they are "designed" for will shatter my windshield. The brackets hold nothing. Of course they'll set your truck on fire, but I hope you don't like your windshield.

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Exchange option

Good mounts: Accent and off-road lighting

I used these mounts on a 52" curved light bar from the 07.5 Sierra and Auxbeam. It just fits well. They were about 1/2 inch wider than the light I used, but I had someone hold them and then pierce them. I used all 4 screws and they are very strong.

Pros
  • Lots of good vibes
Cons
  • Little things

better than the mounts that came with the lightbar.

requires very little bending and fits perfectly on my 2008 GMC Sierra 2500HD. Just make sure you place the brackets correctly and not the other way around. So first put it on the light strip and check for fit, then drill. And it fits my 52" curved bar perfectly, better than the mounts that come with the lightbar I bought.

Pros
  • Heavy Duty Finish
Cons
  • Guard

Sits very low on the truck

So overall it's a good mount, especially for the price, but it only fits in one spot and sits very low on the truck, probably about 3/8 inch. from the roof. I ended up using my brake to bend it and move it higher. If you want it to fit snugly on the roof, this is your mount. If you want it to sit higher, see what else it was if you don't have access to metalworking tools

Not what was in the photo!

I hate to give a bad review but it wasn't what was in the photo in the description! Very disappointed. The picture shows "3" holes at the installation location. I upgraded from 50 to 52 inches so went with the same manufacturer but there are "4" holes in the brackets with nifty screws to hold them in place. False advertising! Also be careful, the coating will peel off and come off within 6 months. It will also rust if not cared for. I had to cross out twice.

Good working but poor finish

Works but I give 2 stars for poor finish with lines and already starting to rust. I took the light bar off to sand off the rust and poured some Por15 in the hole to stop the rust but it will still be a poor finish with lines. Return not possible. If the seller contacts me I will update my rating. Also use rivets for installation, they are much stronger than self-tapping screws. I used 1/4" or 6mm nuts, can't remember which ones.

  • Nice to use

Best value for money light bar mounts!

Absolutely one of the best light bar mounts on the market and to get the mount at a low price only sweetens the deal. When braces first came out, the first thing that caught my attention was the quality of the braces. The brackets are made of durable material that is great for securely attaching the flashlight to an SUV. All the equipment came with brackets to attach to my avalanche and was installed from the day it arrived. I strongly recommend buying this product.

Pros
  • Great fit for me
Cons
  • No instructions

Excellent with one exception

Overall I really like these bindings. They came with self tapping screws instead of nuts like many of these mounts. I've installed rivet nuts before and it wasn't the worst, but self-tapping screws were a lot easier. The brackets came with detailed instructions on where to put them on the door frame which was nice. I marked the spots and used a small hole punch to make sure the holes I drilled were where I wanted them and drilled a few pilot holes just to be sure. They are thick enough to be…

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not sure
