This product is fairly easy to assemble. However, this product makes no sense. We have a 60+ pound Lab who is VERY aggressively trying to get ahead in the car (because he's SUPER excited) and he can literally push the bars apart and drive through. I tightened the bars as tight as I could. So this product makes no sense. All they had to do was design notches on the bar or something that would actually lock the bars in place.
