Great looks, build and design. I'm using a rug I bought for a high traffic kitchen with hardwood floors. I wash it outside with dish soap and a garden hose. Works perfectly! Reliable, well made, looks good. It looks like it's going to be a very, very long time. I was so pleased with this product that I recently decided to purchase a second front doormat. Perfect!

I couldn't figure out why my dark brown entryway carpet was getting so dirty until one day I walked barefoot onto the porch. Back inside, I noticed that the soles of my feet were very black. Regular soap didn't remove the stain so I had to use an industrial cleaner and even that took some work. It wasn't dirt, it was the color of the black carpet. Now I need to replace the entryway mat and buy another porch mat. That's a terrible rug and it's going in the trash. What a waste!

I bought a second one. I've had one for over a year and have bought another one for my front door. I have a lot of doormats and while I like them, they are not easy to clean and look awkward when dog hair gets stuck in them. This rug is easy to clean and doesn't look bad when it gets dirty because it's swept instantly. I like the combs on the carpet, we live on a rural farm. I don't usually write reviews but I think it's important for buyers to know that the measurements on these rugs are not accurate. We bought two 4x6 mats to walk along a 12 foot bench and were disappointed to find that each was about 4 inches shorter than 6 feet, meaning we were 8 inches short of the overall length needed . We will not return them as they are heavy/bulky and difficult to pack. Otherwise, the carpets make a beautiful and hard-wearing impression. I hope this review helps anyone…

The rug is almost as described. If it weren't 4 1/2" (2 1/2" long x 2" wide) smaller than advertised, this would be a better rug. I am very pleased with how it sits on my floor and stands out from one busy family of dogs and boys. However, the smaller size surprised me and left me disappointed. After laying it down, I noticed that the floor around it (tile, hardwood) became slippery. I didn't notice the paint coming off, but it was clearly a slippery residue that came off when I walked on it. I washed it outside with dish soap (wiped and hosed down). It was still slippery. PLEASE don't be like me and think you will be lucky and get the right size rug. The mat I replaced was exactly 4x6. The new carpet didn't fit anywhere near the right length or width (give 4 inches or minus length/width). The carpet was not wide enough to hide why we had the carpet in our listing in the first place, as well as watermarks from the old carpet. People will mention the quality.
