Wood not as advertised

The product image looks like the wood has been treated/sealed but is not. I wouldn't be surprised if my kid ends up getting silver playing with these blocks.

Beware of leaks πŸ˜ͺ

They are beautiful, love the shimmer, but first time out of the box (bought as a gift, son only received this week) and one leaked. For the price I was hoping for more staying power.

Cool but a little disappointing

I loved her and overall still love her. So far my daughter likes them. She's not as impressed with them as I thought. The main thing I don't like is that the sand sticks to the inside of the jar, so even if all the sand is on one end, the rest of the sand stays on the other. I know, I know it's just blocks, but you can't see the rest in the photos, so I wasn't expecting that. They are ok but for the price I would not buy them again and would not recommend them.

Great for children with sensory issues

Bought this for a young child who has some sensory issues but this well made toy will be equally fun for any young child. The water inside is brightly colored with a hint of glitter and just enough air to allow water to flow when the block is shaken or rotated. The wood is untreated but very smooth. They were generous in creating the framework for these blocks so they are very strong and well balanced to build towers. I can buy more of these to donate to the school's sensory room and I would…

Id Buy Again: Stacking Blocks

So these blocks are expensive in my opinion. 10 blocks for over $20. But as a special gift to complement a traditional/plain wooden dice set, they're great. I bought a mirror set for my son who loves looking in the mirror and this sand version for his twin sister who loves the movement and the colour. The quality seems good in the sense that they don't fall apart easily. However, the sand leaves a kind of sediment on the block's "window" so they don't appear as sharp and clear as they do in…

Good but not the best

I ordered these along with the PLAN TOYS WATER BLOCK which is also available here. Plan Toy's blocks are of the best quality with a perfectly smooth wooden surface, while these blocks are a little rough - I'm afraid children may get a splinter from them. Also, water blocks add a new dimension to the fun as the water is clear and my 2.5 year old has invented new games by holding a colored water block to his eyes and enjoying seeing the world around him in a different shade . He also likes it…

Poor quality, leak in box

Ordered for children for Christmas. They arrived today and I opened the package to look at them. One of them seeped into the crate and filled all the edges and other blocks with red paint. The quality seems very poor - some of the blocks aren't strong at all and the plastic shakes and moves like it's coming loose. About half of the blocks have loose plastic cores. I am very nervous that the other blocks will also leak. There is also an awful smell in the box, similar to mothballs, and all the…
