This remote sucks, it's very slow and the buttons don't work properly. You have to press VERY hard to give this remote control some life. But then what do you expect when you pay $8?

After buying a new remote control from the manufacturer after our dog ate the original remote control which is NOT cheap. The dog chewed on the spare. Finally found an inexpensive, easy-to-use remote control! No more dealing with the manufacturer and that's fantastic. The TV it is used on is a Samsung Smart TV.

Cheaply made, but you get what you pay for, right? I would order it again if I lose the one I don't have, that's for sure. Sometimes the buttons don't want to work and you have to keep pressing the buttons. Here, too, you pay a reasonable price for "good” quality. But it's really worth it.

Obviously this remote control is not exactly the same as Samsung's but it does the same thing and has no lag as the original, works perfectly. I'll update this in 30 days if anything has changed, but I ordered this remote in the morning and received it the next morning, even though I opted for easy shipping, so that's a plus 👌🏼

I added batteries and this remote worked immediately and flawlessly on my 6 year old 55 inch Samsung Plasma TV. All Smart TV functions etc. also work perfectly. It's been about a month. If you have a broken Samsung remote that matches the model numbers listed in this Revain ad, PLEASE FEEL FREE TO BUY THEM. I'm very glad I did.

I received the remote control today and tried it out right away. All is well. First, it uses 2 AAA batteries while the original uses AA batteries. It feels just as durable as the original, definitely not cheap. I have a 2012 UN40ES6500 and all buttons worked; Source, Menu, Smart Button, even 3D. It even has a few buttons that weren't on the original remote that work. There is a "Search" button, but I'm not sure what it's looking for. 😉 The only thing it doesn't do is that it doesn't light up…

Do you have Samsung TVs in your gym that refuse to turn off or turn off or even change the channel? some idiotic news channel (take your pick, there are plenty of them). This is the remote control for you. I keep it in the back of my holdall and with a very smooth movement I can mute or unmute the TV in the dressing room and surprisingly no one complains. Goober at PF will turn it back on within 24 hours, but there's little joy in making a difference. Some days I leave it on PBS and other days…
