I bought this remote to replace the Samsung BN59-01178W remote and it doesn't work. The STB button only flashes. It was a waste of money.

Everything works fine for me, including the 3D button, which bothered me a lot. Only one thing doesn't work - "Smart Hub", it's strange that everything else works.

I was hoping to use it as a single remote control for my Uverse, Revain and Netflix. I can't get it to work on UVerse, it works for addons but not for UVerse.

I was concerned that this would not work with my TV. Remote controls have come a long way! I didn't want to worry about "pairing" with my TV. Ideal! No speech recognition, therefore not applicable

Fits us. It looked very similar to my old remote except for fewer lights and the light button was a 3D button. We don't use 3D and I forgot, but I think I used to have to go into the picture menu to toggle it on and off. I miss the backlight on the standard remote but we didn't have to program it and it works with all of our TVs.
