Not warm white as described.

I ordered them because they were supposed to be warm white. As you can see, they are not. The first photo shows the delivered item. The second photo shows a warm white light bulb in the same room. As you can see, the second bulb has a yellow cast, which is to be expected from a warm white. It's not the first.

Pros
  • Best in niche
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Cheaper alternative to replace large boxes

Color temperature is great. Bear this in mind as it is a lot cheaper than the alternatives in the big stores. As for durability, only time will tell, but compact fluorescent lamps will not withstand a long load. I would gravitate slightly towards LED alternatives, as I do with all my light bulbs at home, but these particular bulbs (GX24Q-3) are still on the expensive end of the spectrum. As soon as the LED prices drop, I will switch to this type of lamp.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • No instructions

Cheaper alternative than big box spares

Color temperature is spot on. Consider that it's a lot cheaper than the big-box alternatives. For durability I'd say just time but CFLs don't generally last long due to ballasts. I would gravitate slightly towards LED alternatives as do all my incandescent bulbs at home but these particular incandescent bulbs (GX24Q-3) still do on the expensive side of the spectrum Will switch times.

Pros
  • 82 CRI - 5.5 inch length
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model
