Recessed light can fixture is not Air-Tite rated. Compatible with a wide variety of 6 in. recessed light trims but is best with Halo 426, 420, 353, 310, 301, 172, 78, 71, 70 and 30 series models. Compatible with a wide variety of 6 in. LED retrofit trims but is best with Halo quality RL, RA, SLD, LT, SMD and ML series models (Bulb free with some having a 45-year LED lifespan). For use with 120-Volt incandescent lamps. New construction recessed can, ideal for those who have easy access to their ceilings. Shallow recessed can for ceilings with 2 x 6 joist construction, fits perfectly in tight spaces. For use in non-insulated ceilings or insulated ceilings where insulation is kept at least 3 in. from all sides of the recessed light fixture. Listed for damp location when used with dedicated wet rated recessed ceiling lights. Got nail: pre-installed nail easily installs in regular lumber, engineered lumber and laminated beams. Slide-n-side junction box: connectors allow non-metallic sheathed cable for both U.S. and Canada to be installed without tools.

Great price and easy installation

Excellent price and easy installation. I added an LED light in my shed and couldn't be happier. I would definitely buy again. It's not heavy, but perfect for the price.

Exactly what I needed!

Exactly as shown, needed for a 4x6 timber carport. They fit perfectly and are very easy to connect. I don't know if they still work, the electrician is coming today! So far I am very satisfied, delivery is fast and not broken.

LED Upgrade Issues - UPDATE

Ideal for tight spaces. But I'm having trouble updating the LEDs. The lamp does not want to be flush with the ceiling. Update: I had to remove the Edison screw base and wire the LED mods directly to the glass. The upgrade now fits snugly and flush.

Great product but slightly damaged in shipping.

Excellent product but slightly damaged in transit due to its light construction. I had to bend a few tabs back into place on multiple devices. Luckily, they're so easy to install that it doesn't really matter. I even uninstalled and reinstalled the first one a few times and it was still incredibly easy.

Good value for money

for ceiling mount porch with 6 inch rafters. Check the local code for this type of application. For the money, these boxes have all the bells and whistles: thermal protection, fully adjustable legs, easy cable connection, adjustable cans, and flashlight mounts. It is very easy to install. Would definitely recommend her to a friend.
