Replacing the standard speakers in my Toyota Venza with front speakers, sounds amazing. I can recommend these speakers!

They sound amazing with an amp plugged into them. I don't think they would sound that great without it, but I use them in a 1998 Eldorado with a stock stereo, cassette player and CD changer in the trunk. Maybe the sound would be even better with an aftermarket stereo.

Cerwin Vega has always been the epitome of quality, ever since I was a kid listening to my brother rock the house with CV home theater speakers. That's great! Bass, clarity, easy to install (at least on my 2010 Xterra) and arrived a day early despite the holiday. I will not use anything other than Cerwin Vega in my car. If you get them, you won't regret it.

I just replaced my 21 year old burgher speakers with these and they are only slightly deeper than these. I have an aftermarket JVC head unit and have been making audio for bands in my area for the past 5 years. Low and high frequencies slow down at high volume. I expect they'll sound better with a subwoofer behind them, but overall I'm disappointed with the quality of the material in the cone. I just installed them on my 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix GT. The photo they have here on Revain is completely wrong, but at least they sent me the correct speakers. The fit was perfect; the tweeter and mids are relatively flush with the edge of the woofer surround driver height - they fit under my factory backplate easily. installed a sienna in the front doors of the van using an old speaker box from the instructions on YouTube. Efficiency was as good or better than the original speakers with the original equipment receiver. Clarity is excellent from high, mid to low frequencies. The magnets are rubberized and not too deep to attach. Good floors but there is no subwoofer section and I wasn't expecting it. I listen to classical music and rock. Highly recommended.
