We have 2 cats and a very excited dog. Cats have their own room, but the dog prevents them from staying calm. It's perfect, the installation took no more than 2 minutes and the dog is safely housed in the hallway.

My dogs really wanted a cat feeder. ripped this thing off the wall the first day I tried to force the door open. With a bit of training and the extra glue tab that came with it, it's been good ever since.

The product is adjustable and very easy to install. The 3M adhesion is bomb and the clasp is plastic and cylindrical which makes it very easy to open and close. Most importantly it helps my cats come and go and keeps my dogs from eating cat poo :P

My dog pushed the door and broke it 10 minutes after use (I left the glue on it 24 hours before use) but a waste of money thank goodness this didn't happen. It is expensive. I would say it will work for cats but not for dogs or kids.

We used to have another doorknob that kept breaking. We glued it all the time. I bought this brand when we moved in to keep our two golden retrievers out of the litter box. Because the latch is all plastic, it's very strong. I will only buy this brand for future latches.

Great idea but doesn't work for my dogs. I have a cat box in a guest room and am trying to find a way to keep my leopard dogs out of it. They were able to remove the glue in less than a week. I've tried baby gates, they either push through or just jump over. I ended up incorporating a cat door so I could just close the door. Seems to be the best solution at the moment.

I thought it would be great to keep our new dog out of the bathroom where my cats have food, water and litter boxes. The idea behind this harness is great, but it took less than 24 hours for the cat to push open the door and kick her out. Of course, if it were plucked by a cat, it wouldn't stand a chance against a dog. The tape did not live up to expectations.

Door strap ended up working but I had sticking problems. I prepared the site as directed and followed all instructions but the strap could only withstand very moderate pressure before the anchor popped off. It could hold a small child in the room but I have to hold a 60 lb dog who rushes to the door at full speed. I ended up using Gorilla Glue and Gorilla Taoe to attach it and it has worked fine ever since.

This is a great concept, but it just doesn't hold up to puppy pressure. After a few days on the wall my 15 week old pup finally tried to pry open the door with his paws and the adhesive came off the wall along with some bits of paint. I'm not sure if there was a curing time for the glue as the instructions were limited, but I waited 48 hours before installing the lock to give it time to dry. I just think it can't withstand the force. Disappointed as it's a good idea in theory and less intrusive
