The tip of the FR-301 was clogged. The cleaning tool that came with the Hakko didn't get in. Took this little hand drill and cleaned it up in seconds. Don't worry about difficult blockages anymore!

I use my soldering pump to remove capacitors from old crusted circuit boards. As a result, it accumulates a lot of carbon and often clogs. The 1mm needle that comes with the pump gets stuck in the nozzle, is bent and, in the worst case, can break. This little drill is the perfect solution. Removes all sticky dirt quickly and easily.

I was really frustrated trying to clean my Hakko FR300-05/P desoldering tool and finally decided to order this drill. It only took a few seconds to pierce the blockage and fix the problem.
