Useful little bug

is certainly not a universal tip, but it can be very useful for hand-soldering microprocessors as well as fixing solder bridges.

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • So-so

Best Temperature Recovery

Genuine Hakko tips seem to recover faster than regular tips. I'm tempted to turn off both the Hakko and the aftermarket just to see if there's copper on the aftermarket. (Cu = best heat transfer)

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Great Price

Useful little thing

is definitely not a universal nozzle, but it can be very useful for manual soldering of microcircuits, as well as for correcting solder joints.

Cons
  • It's hard to say that

Worth the investment

I've never had a Hakko handpiece that didn't work the way I expected it to, other brands are a few bucks less but the overall quality and consistent performance of Hakko handpieces is what I love Order.

Cons
  • Exchange available

Very good for little things!.

Good enough for soldering very small surface mounted (SMD) components. It's sharp enough for precise access into tiny gaps, and the beveled tip offers just enough surface area to pick up some solder and conduct heat efficiently to the target. Not a very universal tip, but great for working with very small things.

Cons
  • Problem
