Works well at a very good price

I have used this sport cap both alone indoor cycling and outdoors under a helmet. Works very well in both environments. As you would expect, the silicone sweat barrier leaves a temporary mark on the forehead when worn under a helmet, but is effective in preventing sweat from getting into the eyes and wicking sweat away from the head well.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Reliable

I have a normal head and short hair and works great. Eyes don't sweat

Not for big heads and voluminous hair. I have a normal head and short hair and works great. no sweat in my eyes. The elastic is a bit tight but I have a feeling that after a few uses I'll either get used to it or it will loosen up. You'll mark your forehead after a few hours of use, but that's a small price to pay for the benefits of not sweating your eyes.

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Repair

The best hat ever. for men

This cycling cap with halo headband and sweatband is amazing. I used it for the first time today during my 43 mile bike ride. I drive in Central Florida and it exceeded my expectations. Not only did the glow protect my eyes from the sun, the wick tape works like a charm. Not a single drop of sweat got into my eyes. I really like this cap. I will buy another. I promise you won't be disappointed with this cap. I only wish I had bought it sooner.

Pros
  • Easy to read panel
Cons
  • Flaws

Prevents salty sweat and rain from getting into eyes

I have found accidentally and after long rides that my helmet pads are caked with salt. When it rains, the salt is washed off your forehead and gets into your eyes. It burns so hot I can't keep my eyes open. It's not good to ride a bike through the city streets. I had never driven in heavy rain before the Randonnering so it was never a problem. I bought this cap to solve this problem and it works great. I don't wear it when it's not raining as I found it warms my head a bit. I also bought a hat

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Doubtful

Nice hat, but maybe not for really hot times

Summers here in central Texas are so hot I have to wait about 90 minutes before sunset to ride. I'm in the sun most of my way home so I grabbed this hat. Basically, the lid does everything I can expect from it. Comfortable, well-made, it is made of a mesh material that ensures good ventilation and the peak of the cap protects the eyes well from the sun. Having said that, my first experience with a cap wasn't entirely positive. I left the house at around 7:00 p.m. with a temperature of 97โ€ฆ

Sometimes it works

This halo bike cap works great IF you can get a good fit between your forehead and the rubber portion of the headband AND your head isn't tilted all the way forward the sweat drips over the pad into the eyes or onto the sunglasses. It is possible for me to hold the seal only with a lowered bill. I like to lift the beak for a better field of view when I'm on drops, descending or just want some style points ;) When I lift the beak it rips the gasket off my temples, breaking the seal and lets theโ€ฆ

Pros
  • High marks for fit and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options
